Painting foil wrapped kitchen cabinets
My kitchen cabinets are white and foil wrapped and for the most part in very good condition.. There are a few places where the foil wrapping has worn away and the wood underneath is exposed. Is it possible to paint over foil wrap and/or can I somehow patch these areas?

It is a process, but foil wrapped cabinets can be painted.Because they are in good shape, the best option would be to do a touch up over the raw areas. I would suggest spackling in the raw areas, light sanding and then a bonding primer.(not oil). A paint store should be able to match the color and sheen if you take a door in to match. Touch up with repeated light coats with an artists brush. It would take a little time matching the color, but it can be done and look good!
